We had Whitman’s direct, modern literary voice in mind when we created the graphic approach for this exhibition. Working with 3D designer Roger Westerman we installed angled walls in the gallery to define the curatorial stories. We chose a characteristically assertive portrait of Whitman to colorize and back light at the entry.
